S/M-Early 1900’s 3-tiered Linen Petticoat
$142.00
Early 1900’s 3-tiered linen petticoat with soft blue silk ribbon woven into the trim of each tier. The waist has small pleats at each hip and go down about 4.5”. The material appears to be cotton, but could be a blend. Back closure with one hook at the waistband, and one a few inches down— does not close completely like most petticoats.
The waistband was let out or repaired at some point with a small panel at the back waist next to the closure.
The silk ribbon is not original, but is as historically accurate as I could find.
Condition: excellent sturdy condition with some scattered pinholes and rust specks around the hem. There is one 1/4” hole near the hem as well—none of this shows when worn.
Shown on 5’5” model, 27” waist, 41” hips
Measurements:
Waist up to 31”
