S/M-1910’s Lace + Embroidered gown with swirl-crochet covered buttons

$384.00
A very intricate 1910’s gown with swirled crochet covered buttons, trailing embroidered vines and flowers, and three different laces. The yoke of the dress is a thick embroidered lace, framed by a paisley patterned net lace and polka-dotted filet lace trim. The skirt of the dress has fitted hips with two tiers below.

The dress appears to have been altered at some point— the inner waistband has served edges. I believe the alterations were made to extend the waist, since I couldn’t find evidence of alterations anywhere else in the dress.

Shown on 5’5” model, 34” bust, 27” waist, 41” hips.

Measurements:
Bust up to 38” or smaller for the classic blousy look
Waist up to 27”, tight 28”
Upper hips up to 38” at the lace band
44” hips
16” shoulder to waist
55” total length
