Incredibly precious tissue silk scarf or shawl embroidered with forget-me-nots. This lovely piece dates from around the 1910’s and is in amazing condition for its age considering the fineness of the silk! The ends are trimmed with the silk selvage and knitted into a nice fringe.
Excellent condition with very minor thread pulling in small areas, some scattered pinholes, and small stains in some of the fringe knots.
